The following toolkit was developed by UNDP in partnership with the AUC and a consortium led by the APHRC, within the framework of the Spotlight Initiative Africa Regional Programme. The comprehensive toolkit was developed for civil society organizations, government agencies, women’s rights organizations, academic and research institutions, and individuals who are conducting research or monitoring and/or evaluating programs focused on Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), Harmful Practices (HPs), and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Reproductive Rights (SRH&RR). Designed for research purposes use, it identifies key concepts, terminology, methodological approaches, and indicators to measure VAWG, including HPs and related SRH&RR outcomes.
