Since 2008 to 2019, the contribution of the Government of Japan to Africa has exceeded $639 million to support member states to promote peace and security, environment and sustainable development, and crisis prevention and recovery.
Through TICAD, the people of Japan have helped millions of Africans to live more prosperous and peaceful lives.
The booklet presents people's stories and showcases the transformative changes witnessed in Chad, Nigeria, Sahel region, Ghana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan.
