This in-depth assessment of the socio-economic impacts of COVID-19 co-commissioned by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and UNDP delves into how to better recover from the pandemic, and within that, the crucial role of disaster risk governance in addressing vulnerabilities in Sahelian countries – Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, and Senegal.
