This training resource provides judges and magistrates with increased knowledge and understanding of law and human rights issues facing people living with HIV, people with TB and the key and vulnerable populations affected by HIV and TB, so as to empower them to preside over these cases with knowledge, evidence, empathy and compassion. The training resource is an initiative of the African Regional Judges’ Forum, a regional forum of judges established in 2014 who network to exchange knowledge, experiences and ideas on matters relating to HIV, law and human rights affecting key and vulnerable populations.
