Asia in Focus: Biodiversity and the Business and Human Rights Agenda demonstrates how business operations in Asia impact biodiversity and ecosystems, with significant consequences for human rights. Among other things, the report argues that nature is vital to the right to livelihoods, health and culture, but that nature is also essential to sustainable economic growth in the region.

The findings and recommendations outlined by the report are based on both a literature review and an expert interview programme conducted by Dalberg Group between June and December 2023. This report is produced by UNDP’s Business and Human Rights in Asia programme, in partnership with the European Union (EU).
