ANNOUNCEMENT
The Technical Committee on Culture’s Video / Drawing Competition and Workshop has been postponed to a future date.
Participants who have submitted their work to the competition will be evaluated in the competition when the new dates are determined. Participants who have already submitted their work will also have a chance to resubmit or revise their work if they would like to do so before the new date.
Thank you for participating in this competition and we apologize for any inconveniences that may have been caused due to the postponement of the competition.
The Technical Committee on Culture is pleased to announce the launch of a video and drawing competition focused on cultural heritage sites of the island of Cyprus, some of which have been restored by the Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage. The competition is funded by the European Union.

Drawing competition: open to 11-14 year olds.

Special Prizes for the shortlisted works
As part of this competition the Technical Committee on Culture will organize two workshops conducted by experts in order to provide learning opportunities for Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot children and teenagers who are interested in the arts and cultural heritage and would like to learn new skills and make new friends.
The goal of the Technical Committee on Culture is to encourage youth participation in creative activities as well as in cultural heritage. This competition aims to enhance creativity through the medium of visual story telling by using cultural heritage as a theme.
