Introduction to Korea's Clean Portal: Digital Corruption and Public Interest Violation Reporting Mechanism

Anti-Corruption & Civil Rights Commission of the Republic of Korea launched a digital anti-corruption platform called Clean Portal in 2019 to improve the corruption and public interest reporting process and support data-based anti-corruption policymaking. This publication provides an overview of the Clean Portal, including the background, objectives, legal basis and benefits. It also aims to touch upon frequently asked questions and answers and some strategic recommendations for the countries benchmarking such a system.
