SAEK Corruption Risk Assessment in Health
SAEK Corruption Risk Assessment in Health
December 12, 2014
For the past years, UNDP has been focusing on a targeted sectoral approach in its anti-corruption interventions. Such approach enables the development and implementation of sector-specific anti-corruption plans that address the leakages and mismanagement of allocated resources to promote institutional integrity in sectors.
Within the framework of this corporate strategy, UNDP Kosovo’s project Support to Anti-Corruption Efforts in Kosovo (SAEK) in close collaboration with Anti-Corruption Agency, have developed a Corruption Risk Assessment in the Health Sector to understand how corruption manifests itself in the healthcare system. Moreover, this assessment reveals where corruption risks exist in the health sector in order to devise strategies to address the underlying governance and anti-corruption bottlenecks.
