COVID-19 had brought fast-moving and unexpected changes to our lives. It has exposed flaws and limitations in our existing systems and norms. COVID-19 is still spreading around the world. Our societies will have to adapt to a “new normal” in practically everything we do. This paper addresses the issue related with public services adaptation in the COVID era. It analyses how public sector should shift the focus from mobilizing during the crisis, to stabilizing and supporting the needed changes to improve the public services in the "new normal".
