UNDP Malawi is working to accelerate social and economic impact by adapting the Hotspots approach to local development planning and prioritization of service delivery. A district's Hotspots Dashboard will enable district councils to collect and evaluate data and coordinate service delivery based on real-time information. Service delivery will be better targeted and prioritized to hotspot areas where people are most at risk of being left behind.

UNDP is also working with the Ministry of Health to support the transparency and efficiency of supply chain management for medical supplies. The system uses a mobile platform to support health professionals to manage the receipt, storage and use of commodities through the supply chain all the way to the patient.
