Our Good Governance Cluster works towards the development of accountable institutions and effective, agile and transparent governance mechanisms that can cope with the complex challenges of democracy in the 21st century. Our work supports the core capacities for institutional reform and strengthening (such as public financial management, parliamentary scrutiny or public administration reform), strongly emphasizes transparency and public dialogue, and strives to build innovation into mainstream policy. Our activities are grouped under five portfolios:
- Digital Innovation
- Inclusive Political Processes and Civic Participation
- Rule of Law and Public Administration Reform
- Public Finance Management
- Human Development and Population Change
