This guidance note addresses this core issue. It proposes a method in four basic steps to review and strengthen the strategic approach of ACAs in ASEAN to define and implement a data-based system for evaluating their performance. 

This guidance note is part of UNDP’s FairBiz project aimed at “Promoting a Fair Business Environment in ASEAN” that is funded by the UK Government and the ASEAN Economic Reform Programme. It summarizes the experience gained during a prior project supporting the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) of Thailand.
