In 2020, the UNDP DPPA Joint Programme on Building National Capacities for Conflict Prevention, administered by UNDP, accelerated its support to prevent conflict and sustain peace. An expanding cadre of 106 peace and development experts based in 64 countries provide expertise to United Nations Country Teams and national partners in reinforcing local capacities for conflict prevention, dialogue and sustaining peace.
