The UNDP Policy Brief, Issue No. 2, presents the effects that have emerged on the Malawi economy because of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the COVID-19 pandemic, and climatic shocks based on most recent macro and micro economic developments. 

The brief also attempts to offer policy measures that could help to keep the country on a sustainable development pathway to foster and sustain economic development and achievement of most of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
