In 2022, the UNDP in Mauritius collaborated across the UN system and partnered with bilateral and multilateral actors to deliver development programmes development programmes aimed at continuing recovery from the COVID-19 impact and supporting the Government and people of Mauritius to build forward better. The UNDP Country Office strengthened its programme by focusing on three directions of change regarding structural transformation, leaving no one behind and building resilience.

This annual report highlights how the programme contributed to the six signature solutions of the new UNDP Strategic Plan 2022-2025 using enabling tools in strategic innovation, digitalisation and development financing and by expanding our portfolio to include technical advisory support and policy analysis, leveraging local, regional, and global resources, and capitalising on opportunities for development impact in an upper-middle- income context.
