This policy note presents the most relevant findings related to the indicators considered in the study entitled Where do migrants stand in Latin America and the Caribbean? Mapping socioeconomic integration (IDB, OECD and UNDP, 2023), and from there we propose, from a prospective and proactive perspective, policy recommendations to the governments of Latin America and the Caribbean in order to ensure and enhance the contributions of people in conditions of human mobility to the development of the region.

This, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially Goal 8 (decent work and economic growth), Goal 10 (reduction of inequalities) and Goal 16 (peace, justice and strong institutions).
