UNTAPPED is first-of-its-kind research which demonstrates that collective intelligence can advance climate action by generating more real-time, localized climate data and by mobilizing more people and diversifying perspectives.

This new research builds on the knowledge generated by cutting-edge experiments from the UNDP Accelerator Labs Network, reaching more than a hundred countries in the Global South including 36 LDCs and 38 SIDS, and an analysis conducted in partnership with Nesta’s Centre for Collective Intelligence Design of 100+ initiatives across 45 countries that tap into people’s participation and use new forms of data to adapt to the impact of climate change and reduce carbon emissions.
