Private Sector Engagement and Development
UNDP Seoul Policy Centre engages with Korean businesses of all sizes, including impact start-ups, micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), large corporations and the investment community, as well as the related public and private ecosystem to leverage their innovation, knowledge and resources to support the development of the private sector in partner countries and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Key examples of our efforts include strengthening the capacity of MSMEs through inclusive digital transformation, with Korea’s policies and practices as reference, and providing acceleration support to SDG-aligned start-ups in the Republic of Korea and other countries.
SDG Partnership on Supporting MSMEs through Inclusive Digital Transformation
UNDP Seoul Policy Centre, with the aim to empower MSMEs through digital capacity-building, shares the experience of the Republic of Korea in supporting small businesses through inclusive digital transformation. The Centre also facilitates discussions among partner countries to promote a more inclusive, equitable and sustainable digital economy in line with UNDP’s Digital Strategy.
