With the funding from the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol, UNDP is implementing a number of demonstration projects to assess the viability of alternatives to hydrochlorofluorocarbons that minimize negative environmental impacts, in particular impacts on climate, while meeting other health, safety and economic criteria.
