The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has played a pivotal role in facilitating Serbia's transition towards a greener future since 2014. Our efforts gradually increased from policy support and increasing institutional capacities of diverse government ministries towards introducing green financing instruments and regulations, supporting implementation of practical green and energy-saving solutions of public and private companies, academia, and local-self governments. This long-term support demonstrates UNDP's commitment to advancing environmental sustainability, bolstering climate resilience, and fostering green development.
