Čurug, October 30, 2024 – A free eight-week training programme “Better Business through Data” has started today in Čurug, with the aim to provide support to female entrepreneurs who wish to acquire new digital skills to improve their business operations. The training is organised by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Serbia, in partnership with the Office for IT and eGovernment and the female entrepreneurs' association “She is Hard-Working” (Ona je vredna), with the support from the Government of the United Kingdom.

The programme includes twenty female entrepreneurs from Vojvodina working across diverse fields such as hospitality, jewellry production, natural cosmetics, and the textile industry. Through hands-on mentorship and practical tasks, participants will learn to utilise data and digital tools for business improvement, performance tracking, and informed decision-making, as well as to create professional reports and presentations for applying for subsidies, loans, or other forms of support.

Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to network and exchange experiences with other female entrepreneurs, and by the end of the training they will be able to apply their newly acquired skills to a specific business project.

This training programme is organised as a part of the project "Open Data for Open Societies", implemented by UNDP and the Office for IT and eGovernment, with the support from the Government of the United Kingdom.
