Invitation to Info session on the current public call for the transfer of knowledge and implementation of innovative solutions in countries in the region

Belgrade, 4 September 2023 – United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites all the parties interested in the current public call for the transfer of knowledge and implementation of innovative local solutions in the Republic of North Macedonia, Republic of Albania, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina to apply for and attend the online Info session that will be held on Thursday, 7 September 2023, at 12pm, via the Zoom platform. To participate the Info session, one needs to apply HERE.
The purpose of the online Info session is to present the current public call and respond to all the questions and doubts of the interested candidates. The Info session will be held in the Serbian language, with English translation provided.
The current public call has been issued by UNDP, in partnership and cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and is intended for private and public enterprises, universities and research institutes in the Republic of Serbia. The purpose of this public call is transfer of knowledge and application of innovative solutions that may serve as responses to different developmental challenges and crises situations in the Republic of North Macedonia, Republic of Albania, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The public call is supported by the Government of the Republic of Serbia as a part of the Official development assistance it provides in order to strengthen economic potentials in the aforementioned countries.
We remind you that this public call can be applied for by the Serbian entities whose projects contain solutions, products, or services that have already been effectively implemented in Serbia and proven in practice, while also having the potential of being implemented in the region. The projects may include the following fields: food safety and availability, sustainable tourism and new digital services, solutions and platforms.
Before sending their applications, the entities from the Republic of Serbia that wish to participate in the Challenge call, need to establish and develop partnerships with local entities in the country, or countries where the proposed solution would be implemented. In this way, the awarded funds would contribute to the transfer of knowledge, innovations and practice.
