Integrating Community-centered, Ecosystem-based Approaches into Forestry, Agriculture and Tourism Sectors
The Global Environment Facility (GEF) supported “Managing Together: Integrating Community-centered, Ecosystem-based Approaches into Forestry, Agriculture and Tourism Sectors” project in the Malwathu Oya river basin is implemented by the Ministry of Environment with the support of UNDP in Sri Lanka.
The project will be in operation till June 2026.
Opportunity for NGOs to contribute towards Sustainable Biodiversity Management
To support the Ministry of Environment with project implementation activities, UNDP is seeking the services of a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) as a responsible party to the project.
The main objectives of the engagement will be,
- Provide project management support to the Ministry of Environment
- Provide Technical & operational support for project implementation
- Ensure the project’s Environment and social safeguard measures are implemented, as per the Environment and Social Management Plan of the Project.
Interested organizations can share details via email to proposals.lk@undp.org on or before 03rd September 2024. Your submission should contain the duly filled Request for Information (RFI) form plus the Capacity Assessment Checklist (CACHE) with relevant supporting documentation.
