UNDP Uganda Annual Report 2022
UNDP Uganda Annual Report 2022
November 1, 2023
2022 proved to be another unprecedented year for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Uganda, with the Ebola virus disease (EVD) outbreak providing another test of the nation’s resilience following the collective response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Significant milestones and strong development results have been achieved amid these challenges, as the country has maintained focus on socio-economic recovery in the aftermath of these national emergencies. Together with and alongside the Government of Uganda, development partners, the private sector, civil society, cultural institutions, academic institutions and the people of Uganda, UNDP and its partners have remained resilient in our efforts to safeguard development gains and maintain progress toward achieving the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
