This brief outlines the progress to date on the roll-out of the Grant Management Module under the Public Financial Management System and the institutionalization of internal audit and risk frameworks by the Ministry of Health and Child Care, as supported by the UNDP and Global Fund. It also highlights some initial impacts of these interventions on the management of critical health resources and programme delivery for HIV, TB, Malaria and other basic services.
