CALL FOR PROJECT CONCEPT PAPER
November 28, 2024
Since August 2005, UNDP Cambodia has been implementing the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Small Grants Programme initiative to promote environmental protection and improve livelihood of communities, executed by UNOPS. The Small Grants Programme (SGP) works directly by providing grants and technical support to local NGOs and community-based organizations (CBOs).
UNDP Cambodia would like to invite local NGOs and CBOs working on environmental conservation, climate change adaptation and poverty reduction in (1) all villages, communes, districts inside and nearby the Central Cardamom Mountain National Park and Biodiversity hotspots in Cambodia, as well as (2) those focusing on innovative energy access for Indigenous Peoples (IPs) in Cambodia, to submit their project concept papers for the grants.
Grants of up to US$ 50,000 per project are available and distributed on a competitive basis.
SGP will fund up to 50% of the total project cost while the other 50% is to be funded by the selected organization or community through local authority contribution and/or other donor support.
