The Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, with the support of the European Union Anti-Corruption Initiative in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine, presents a Methodology for Corruption Risks Assessment in the Activities of Local Self-Government Bodies.
The methodology provides a step-by-step guide for assessing corruption risks and potential violations in key areas of local government operations:
- urban planning;
- land relations;
- management of municipal real estate;
- public procurement;
- socio-economic infrastructure.
The methodology can be useful for heads, officers for corruption prevention and detection, leaders of structural units of local councils (village, town, city), representatives of the communities seeking to minimize corruption risks in the council’s activities.
