UNDP Rwanda
Our Partners
UNDP Rwanda has been able to thrive through strategic partnerships with like-minded institutions worldwide who continually support our development agenda.
The Government of Rwanda is a crucial partner for UNDP. UNDP works with Government Ministries, Departments and Local Authorities at national, regional and local levels.
UNDP also works with a range of and civil society and private sector actores, aimed at eradicating extreme poverty, and reducing inequalities and exclusion to protect both people and the planet.
UNDP also works in close partnership with the UN System through the United Nations Sustainable Development Framework (UNSDF). The 2018-2022 UNSDF serves as a common strategy in four strategic areas of focus:
- Towards improved data, knowledge management and evidence-based policy
- Strengthened, innovative public institutions and engagement towards a lasting peace
- Human security and socio-economic resilience
- Enhancing resilience to climate change and disasters and strengthening environmental management
