Low-Value Grants Programme (hereinafter – the Programme) is a Programme organized by the ‘Strengthening the Rule of Law and Human Rights Protection in Uzbekistan’ project implemented jointly by UNDP in Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and funded by MFA Finland.
As a result of the program, nine Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) have been selected to receive small grants. These grants aim to support the work and initiatives of these organizations in promoting human rights, gender equality, and the empowerment of marginalized groups in Uzbekistan. The selection process involved a thorough evaluation of the proposals submitted by various CSOs, considering factors such as the alignment of their projects with the program's goals, the potential impact of their initiatives, and their organizational capacity to effectively implement the proposed activities.
A total of 37 NGOs applied from 11 regions, Tashkent city, and the Republic of Karakalpakstan. After a thorough assessment of the applications by the Selection Committee, the allocation of a total of nine low value grants was approved to the following winning NGOs for the implementation of their project proposals in 2024:

Low-value grants offer valuable financial resources to the selected CSOs, enabling them to carry out their projects and contribute to positive social change. These organizations play a vital role in advocating for the rights and needs of marginalized populations, fostering inclusivity, and driving community development. The grants will support a range of activities, such as awareness campaigns, capacity-building workshops, advocacy efforts, and direct legal support to marginalized individuals and communities.
By providing these grants, the program recognizes the importance of supporting and strengthening the capacities of civil society in Uzbekistan. The selected CSOs will have the opportunity to implement their projects, collaborate with relevant stakeholders, and make a meaningful impact in their respective areas of focus.
